The Healing Sanctuary at O.U.R. ECOVILLAGE

is a hybrid natural building. Stone foundation, log post and beam structure, cob and straw bale exterior walls and interior light clay walls. The building is approx. 1500 squ.ft, and will be completed this season.  The sanctuary has an earthen floor with hydronic heat, kitchen and bathroom areas are tiled. All finishes are clay plasters except the bathroom lime sand finish.

Garden Cottage , Mayne Island

Built 2002/03 with many hands.

Approx. 450sqft, loadbearing cob walls, earthen floors, living roof. All natural finishes.
